USA Expos Launches ‘National Home And Garden Show Series’

USA Expositions Launches ‘National Home And Garden Show Series’ Uniting 30 Independent Home & Garden Shows

8/6/2009 - USA Expositions has combined the resources and reach of the 30 most prominent independent Home and Garden Shows from across the country with today’s launch of the “National Home and Garden Show Series ™” via PremierHomeShows.com.

The newly launched “National Home and Garden Show Series” is also pleased to announce its partnership with Better Homes & Gardens, who will provide a full year subscription to all online ticket buyers for premierhomeshow.com events during 2010.

This union of the best-produced and most-attended shows in the U.S. provides national companies the opportunity to easily and effectively gain coast-to-coast exposure and meet their customers face-to-face in a variety of different markets.

“It’s a one-stop shop for companies providing a national marketing platform. This premier 30- show portfolio provides a collective media expenditure/sponsorship benefit of $5 million and direct access to more than 1.5 million show attendees in cities such as Seattle, St. Louis, Houston, and Pittsburgh,” said Brian Roggenburk, president of USA Expositions.

Roggenburk was the founder and managing director of IMG Expositions -- the firm’s consumer show division, hence USA Expositions, LLC. He brings more than 30 years of experience in event marketing, including his 25 year tenure at IMG (the world’s leading sports marketing and event company), representing and working on the firm’s two most prestigious accounts – Wimbledon and The Open Championship, aka British Open.

These independent shows have been very successful as marketing tools for major national companies, including GMC.

“Home life events were GMC’s premier experiential marketing program for over 10 years, providing a return on investment nearly three times greater than our other, sometimes much larger, promotional programs. These shows were, hands down, one of our most successful on-site event programs and the independent home and garden show group outperformed all other home shows 2:1 with deliverable automotive unit sales,” said David Pettit, GMC’s former national promotions manager.

The St. Louis Home and Garden Show, with over 650 exhibitors and 400,000 sq. ft. of exhibits, is one of the country’s largest shows and is in its 33rd year. “As a producer of a long-running, high-quality home show, it is exciting to have a vehicle like PremierHomeShows.com to bring high quality events together in a convenient format for sponsors and exhibitors looking for the best shows,” said Gary Zide, senior staff vice president, Home Builders Association of St. Louis. USA Expositions will support only one event in each market. The Home and Garden Shows have been selected based on quality exhibits, quality gardens, attendance, promotions and advertising and the overall experience for the show visitors. The group of shows represents a very distinct and targeted demographic of affluent homeowners, as well as dynamic industry leaders active in their communities.
